Twenty years on ladders and roofs taught me this.

I spent two decades building and running a storm-restoration company from the ground up, then years more on the insurance side adjusting the claims that follow the storms. Along the way I watched good, hard-working businesses get squeezed by bigger competitors with more automation and less soul.
